I work face to face at my home-based office in Southsea, as well as online via Zoom and telephone. So whether you’re 5 minutes down the road or at the other end of the country, I’m able to work with you.

Booking a first session

I offer a free, 15-minute, no obligation phone or Zoom call so that we can introduce ourselves and get a sense of how we might work together.

If you’d like to know more about my counselling service or have any questions, please email me to arrange that free 15-minute call.

Sessions are available between these hours. The latest appointment start time I offer is 18.00.

Appointments are offered on a first come, first served basis. I aim to offer you at least two options for an appointment and will hold those open for you for 24 hours, after which I can’t guarantee that the slots will still be available. If we’re unable to find a mutually acceptable appointment time, I can put you on my waiting list or suggest the names of some trusted and experienced colleagues who you might decide to contact instead.

Counselling for individuals: The fee for a 50-minute session is £50. Counselling may be short-term (6-10 sessions) or open-ended/long-term. This is something we would discuss in our initial conversation.

Counselling for couples: I work with an 8-10 session 90-minute couples counselling model; the fee for each session is £85.

I can take payment by debit/credit card or by bank transfer. The fee must be paid 24 hours in advance of each session to confirm your place. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give me 24 hours notice; I will do my best to reschedule but this cannot be guaranteed. A session cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or not attended (DNA’d) will still require payment of the full fee.
